MAY 6, FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER - At our 9:30 service, the women of the Chancel Choir will sing "For the Beauty of the Earth." The Bay Shore Bells will perform "Holy Spirit, Breath of God." The Rev. Susan Bjork's sermon is "Being Branches & Bearing Fruit" with John 15:1-8 as the text. Sacrament of Communion.
MAY 13, SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER - MOTHER'S DAY - At our 9:30 service, the men of Chancel Choir will sing "Swing Down Chariot," and the women will conclude the service with "Blessing." The Rev. Charles Ensley's sermon is "When God is Like a Mother," with John 15:9-17 as the text. Following worship, our fundraiser, Score With Bay Shore, will be held, including silent and live auctions, lunch and entertainment.
MAY 20, SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER - At our 9:30 service, the Chancel Choir will sing "I Have Longed For Thy Saving Health." The Rev. Charles Ensley will preach.
MAY 27, PENTECOST SUNDAY - At our 9:30 service, the Chancel Choir will sing "Create in Me, O God, A Pure Heart." The rite of Confirmation will be celebrated. Following worship, there will be a cake reception to honor Alicia Adams, organist and handbell director, on her retirement after 12 years of service to the church.
