Do you have things in your home/garage that you would just love to part with? Well, GOOD NEWS—your Fundraising Committee has scheduled a Rummage Sale for Saturday, July 26 on the front lawn of the church. It’s not too soon to begin gathering up your treasures!
What kinds of things can you donate? Consider gently used clothing, housewares, linens, decorative items, sporting equipment, furniture, rugs, small appliances and electronics (in good or better working condition), children’s toys, and books. (No mattresses, please.)
When and where can you drop off your donations? Collection starts July 1! You may drop off your donations at the church during the week between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Heather, our Office Manager, will direct you as to where they should be placed. We can also make arrangements for someone to pick items up from your home if necessary.
Would you like to lend a hand? The Fundraising Committee would welcome your help in sorting and pricing items during the two weeks prior to the Rummage Sale and we can always use “salespersons” on the day of the sale.
This is a great opportunity to support Bay Shore Church’s programs, have a fellowship opportunity with each other, and meet and greet our neighbors surrounding Bay Shore Church. Let’s make this a bountiful fundraising event!
