Dialogues on Race – A Fall Class for Adults
Begins September 10 & 11
Race is one of the most relevant topics in our society. And, as people of faith, we are called to reflect on our relationships with all of God’s people of the world. So, race is also a deeply relevant topic to our continued theological education and faith formation.
Pastor Susie invites you to join her in an eight-week class for adults utilizing a new book and curriculum entitled Dialogues on Race that was created to allow for deep, thoughtful, respectful, and faith-centered discussion around this often challenging (and too often divisive) subject. The purpose of this class is to expand our awareness, perspective, and understanding as well as to learn to be good listeners and conversation partners in all aspects of our lives.
Two identical sessions will be offered each week on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in Gabrielson Chapel. Please sign up in the fellowship hall or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that we will not meet on September 24 & 25 and October 22 & 23.
