Fun, Fellowship, and Making a Difference

“Let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.”
1 John 3:18

WHEN: Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE:  Fellowship Hall–Coffee & Donuts will be served!

WHAT: Volunteering and Fellowship
If you are looking to have fun, connect with others in the church, and do something meaningful, this new group is for you. The idea is to have a monthly volunteer project. Some projects can be with other organizations to do things like a beach cleanup, Operation Easter Basket, Habitat for Humanity, serving those in need, etc.  Some projects can be at the church like a clean-up day. Along with the project, there will be time for fellowship. Maybe we go out for coffee or lunch after the project.  During this organizational meeting, we will select our first few projects and how to do the fellowship part.

Benefits to you and the Church
Getting engaged in this way can help you find a way to live out your faith and deepen relationships with others in the church. It can help the church have a visible role in doing things for our community. It can also help new people find a way to connect with our congregation so that they can see the heart of service and love that Bay Shore Church is all about. If you are new, this would be a great way to get involved on the ground floor of an exciting new ministry.

“You make a living by what you get.
You make a life by what you give.”

~Winston Churchill
