COMMUNITY CARES VOLUNTEER FAIR – Sunday, June 7 at 12 PM at Bay Shore Church Youth Center, 5200 E. The Toledo, Long Beach, CA 90803. You can make a difference in your community – be a VOLUNTEER. Find the right organization to match your talents, interests and availability right here in Long Beach.

FOOD DRIVE
We’ll be collecting items for the Long Beach Food Coalition at the Volunteer Fair. LBFC is an amazing organization that uses our kitchen weekly to help feed the community members. Their current list of needs are:
- sugar (white and brown)
- Flour
- Rice
- Noodles
- Spices: Salt, Pepper, Adobo seasoning, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Italian seasoning… anything really.
- Chicken broth or Chicken base
- Vanilla extract
- Cake mixes w/ frosting
- Muffin mixes
- Canned corn
- Canned peas
- Cream-based soups: Cream of celery, chicken, mushroom… whatever.
- Canned tomatoes
- Powdered Milk
You can bring your donations to the Youth Center on Sunday, starting at 11am.
You can also bring your clothing donation for the Community Action Team’s Clothing Drive!
