You are invited! Join us at Bay Shore Church for a special evening of community, creativity, food, music, and conversation as we gather for our Room at the Table Community Dinner & Art Show.
This free community event is an opportunity to come together around a shared table, meet new people, enjoy good food, and celebrate the many ways creativity can bring us together. Everyone is welcome—whether you are a longtime member of Bay Shore Church, a friend of the congregation, a neighbor, or someone joining us for the first time.
You Are Here, You Are Hope
The theme of this year’s art show is “You Are Here, You Are Hope.” At a time when our communities can sometimes feel divided or uncertain, this theme invites us to pause and reflect on the hope that can be found in simply being present—with one another, with our neighbors, and within our community.
Art gives us a unique way to express those ideas. A painting, photograph, drawing, sculpture, craft, or other creative work can tell a story, capture a feeling, or offer a glimpse of hope that words alone cannot always express.
We are excited to showcase the creativity of people throughout our community and invite artists and crafters of all ages and skill levels to participate. You do not need to be a professional artist or have years of experience. If you have something you have created that speaks to the theme, we would love to see it!
An Evening Around the Table
In keeping with the spirit of Room at the Table, the evening will include a Hawaiian dinner for everyone to enjoy. We will also have opportunities for conversation and discussion, along with music and other activities throughout the evening.
Most importantly, this is a time to be together. Pull up a chair, share a meal, meet someone new, enjoy the artwork, and take part in the conversation. There is always room at the table for another person, another story, and another perspective.
Best of all, this event is FREE and everyone is welcome!
Want to Share Your Artwork?
We encourage crafters and artists from across our community to submit an item for the art show. Whether you paint, draw, photograph, sculpt, sew, quilt, build, craft, or create in another medium, your work has a place in this celebration.

If you plan to attend the community dinner, please RSVP as soon as possible so we can prepare enough food and seating for everyone.
