Lent Begins Today – February 17, 2021
Zoom Ash Wednesday Service Tonight at 7:30 PM The season of Lent is upon us once again. Today marks the beginning of our 40 day journey towards Easter (not including Sundays which have been traditionally viewed as “mini-Easters” along the way). I’ve always loved Lent because it is a time that invites us to reflect, spend some intentional time engaging in new or familiar spiritual practices that nurture us, and do a little spiritual spring cleaning to clear away anything that might be cluttering our hearts and minds in order to make a little more room for God’s grace and the most important things in life. Tonight at 7:30 PM, we invite you to join us for a Zoom Ash Wednesday service in collaboration with our friends down at First Congregational Church here in Long Beach.
