Children’s Musicals and Choir
Our Children’s Choir is made up of kids as young as four up through fifth grade. They meet on Sundays to rehearse after worship at 10:45 a.m in the Louise Henry Youth Chapel. The Children’s Choir sings to the glory of God and to the delight of our congregation several times per year during worship as well as performing a Christmas musical in December and another musical in the spring. Both musicals are presented on a Sunday morning during our regular 9:30 a.m. worship service.

Youth Arts
Our youth in sixth through twelfth grade offer their creative gifts to our worship life throughout the year. From serving as readers to offering skits or dramas, to instrumental and vocal music, our youth are a talented bunch whose artistic abilities enhance our worship service.

Nursery Care
Nursery care is provided for infants and children up to age 4 during the whole Sunday worship service. Our nursery caregiver, Felicity Miller, and her team of attendants are there to take care of our youngest ones every week. A paging system is available so you may be reached during worship if there is a problem regarding your child. The nursery is located in our Christian Education wing and one of the ushers would be happy to show you where it is when you arrive. If you have questions about Sunday school or nursery care, please contact Rev. Susie Bjork.
Vacation Bible School
Join us for a wildly fun, creative, educational, and faith-enriching program. Each day we learn a Bible story and connect it to a theological concept for daily living such as faith, boldness, kindness, thankfulness, and hope. All week long we learn how God’s Spirit empowers us to live out our faith. There are a lot of smiles and singing. We develop a new theme every year and have components of vocal choir, handbells & chimes, dance, drama games, and additional special activities.

Pilgrim Pines Camp
Many of our children and youth go to Pilgrim Pines Camp in the summer. Located in the San Bernardino Mountains and operated by our own Southern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, Pilgrim Pines offers fun and faith-filled camp experiences for children and youth in first grade through high school. You can often find members of our church up there serving as a counselor for a week too!

Safe Church & Release Form
All volunteers and employees who work with our children and youth have been background checked in compliance with our safe church policy. All children and youth who participate in our programs complete a release form. You can print our release form HERE, fill it out, and bring it with you to church. Thank you! We hope to see your child in our programs soon!
