First Light: Jesus and the Kingdom of God

Grab some coffee and a donut after worship and join a new class in Pastor Dave’s (air-conditioned) office. Meet other people from our congregation and learn more about the life of Jesus in the context of his time and culture. This class was designed by two of the leading scholars on Jesus: Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan. We will learn from them in short (20 minute) videos and discuss their talks as a group, learning from each other and growing in our faith together.
You will get something out of this class whether you are just beginning to learn about Jesus or if you’ve been at this all your life. There is a reading guide of short 2-3 page lessons that are helpful but certainly not required.
